WEEK 12

Week 12

Food: & Drink:  I usually have mugs of 1/3rd whole milk topped up with boiling water at least 3 times a day (sometimes 4) which with my yoghurt probably brings milk intake to nearly a pint a day. I also have a glass of water about 5 – 10 mins before main meals and during aerobic exercises

Food:

Egg, bacon, mushrooms, tomatoes, thin toast butter and marmalade. Dinner.Roast FR chicken, potato wedges,  parsnip, beetroot, carrot, cabbage, calabrese, gravy portion stewed fruit and ice-d=cream.  Tea: Pasta with ham and tomato based sauce. Evening: Portion of stewed fruit

Exercise:

set 1. Snatch with 15kg plates: – 22. Twist sit-ups :-  23

Food:

egg, orange juice, 2 cups milky tea. FR roast chicken, NO potato, parsnips, carrots, beetroot, cabbage, calabrese , gravy. extra cup milky tea, cheese, bacon pasty, apple, mid evening – plain yoghurt

Exercise:

set 1 lateral raise with 2 x 2.75 kg  dumbbells:-  22  triceps extension with 2x 2.75 kg dumbbells:- 36

set 2 lateral raise with 2 x 2.75 kg  dumbbells:-  20  triceps extension with 2x 2.75 kg dumbbells: – 32

Food:

egg, orange juice, 2 cups milky tea. Toad in the hole, cabbage, carrots. gravy. Tea, Apple. Evening out Full Mixed Grill (six chips) 2 glasses pineapple and lemonade, 1 J2O

Exercise:

Set 1 squats with 15 kg weight:- 22  Lunges:21

Set 2 squats with 15 kg weight:- 29  Lunges:-28

Notes:

So, eating late – and a lot and on top of that three half-pint fizzy sweet drinks. Hmm not a good idea when losing weight. Also late home and did not do areobic ans stretching

Food:

egg, orange juice, 2 cups milky tea.. Mind morning 1 cube plain chocolate and two mint imperials. Took Mum and Dad Out to Lunch for their wedding anniversary (59 years) Ate, Chicken with bacon and brie, 2 new potatoes, salad, carrots and calabrese. Dessert – Pavlova. Tea: Apple,

Exercise:

Set1 front raise with 2 x 2.75 dumbbells.:- 36  triceps extensions with 2 x 2.75 dumbbells.:- 37

Set2 front raise with 2 x 2.75 dumbbells.:- 27 triceps extensions with 2 x 2.75 dumbbells.:- 30

Notes:

Took Mum and Dad Out to Lunch for their wedding anniversary (59 years) Choose main course  ‘wisely’ but Love pavlova! Then felt overfed!

Food:

egg, orange juice, 2 cups milky tea. mid morning. 2 brazils. Lunch: Pork chops in sauce with carrots, beertroot, shallots, with sliced potatoes. Tea: Crumpet with cheese and egg.

Exercise:

Set 1 Bicep curls with 2 x 2.75 kg dumbbells :- 36  Wrist curls with 2 x 2.75 kg dumbbells :-29

Set 2 Bicep curls with 2 x 2.75 kg dumbbells :- 35  Wrist curls with 2 x 2.75 kg dumbbells :- 28

Belly dancing for 1 and a quarter hrs

egg, orange juice, 2 cups milky tea. mid morning. 2 brazils. 1 cube plain choc, Lunch Fish in batter, 6 chips, carrots, beetroot, leek and peas. half an apple. Pizza with cheese and ham. Evening 2 brazils nuts.

Food:

egg, orange juice, 2 cups milky tea. Late lunch:  Turkey, salmon en croute, calabrese, 1 med potato, tomato, lettuce, cucumber, pavlova, Later: 4 nougat sweets, Cheese, cheese and cracker. Glasses of sparkling wine.

Exercise:

47 squats   30 lunges.

Notes:

So, third day of ‘over-eating’ in one week as we hosted a family do for my parents’ wedding anniversary. And SO late to bed I only managed some squats and lunges as I was waiting for a cup of milk to heat up in the microwave.

So, what did this mean for the results: Well, Sunday morning saw me tired (having also lost an hour from my sleep – clock went forward – but no-one had a lie in)   but also a little bloated feeling. The scales told me I’d been overdoing it and registered the same as last week, 10 st 9lbs. Am I surprised? No, not really at all!! The tape measure gave no respite when I measure relaxed – being the same as last week at 37inchs, but much to my surprise the pulled in tight measurement was half an inch down! ?  Strange as I was definitely feeling bloated! Am tempted to weigh again tomorrow and see what happens then.
