WEEK 10

4/3 – week 10

Food: & Drink:  I usually have mugs of 1/3rd whole milk topped up with boiling water at least 3 times a day (sometimes 4) which with my yoghurt probably brings milk intake to nearly a pint a day. I also have a glass of water about 5 – 10 mins before main meals and during aerobic exercises
Egg, bacon, mushrooms, tomato, orange juice, thin slice toast and marmalade. Lunch: Roast Pork, apple sauce, (no sugar) roast potato (2 thin wedges) Roast carrots, beetroot, parsnip, leeks, calabrese. gravy. Dessert: Stewed apple and blackberry and homemade custard. Tea, Cream of veg soup with 2 halves of muffin, one with melted cheddar on. Apple. Evening: Other half stewed fruit and custard

Exercise:

Set 1 lateral raise with 2 x 2.75 kg dumbbells: – 23 Tricep extensions with 2 x 2.75 kg dumbbells: –  40

Set 1 lateral raise with 2 x 2.75 kg dumbbells: – 30  Tricep extensions with 2 x 2.75 kg dumbbells: – 34

Half hour of stretching and aerobic exercise to music

Notes:

On a high all day from finding out that I had lost 3lbs last week – got to watch i don’t get carried away and think i can take  my eye off the ball. Also, trying to remember to photograph every thing I eat – not as easy as you might think!

 

5/3- week 10

Food:

Egg, orange juice, 2 cups  milky tea. Huge bowl of Chicken stew (no dumplings or bread) but potatoes inthe stew. tea: boiled egg and 1 slice toast – half without butter (dipped in egg as soldiers) other half, butter and jam. Evening. Plain yoghurt with unsweetened stewed apple.

Exercise:

Set 1 Snatch with 15 kg :- 20 Sit- ups:- 25

Set 1 Snatch with 15 kg :- 22 Sit- ups:- 20

Half hour of stretching and aerobic exercise to music

Notes:

Lunch was so filling I had no need of a snack in the afternoon!

 

6/3 – week 10

Food:

Egg, orange juice, 2 cups  milky tea. Mid morning: cube of plain chocolate and 2 brazils. Lunch: Roast Pork, apple sauce, (no sugar) roast potato (2 thin wedges) Roast carrots, beetroot, parsnip, leeks, calabrese. gravy. Tea: Crumpet with ham and cheese and an egg. Evening_ one scrummy biscuit (It was WI committee meeting!!

Exercise:

Set1 squats holding 15kg weight :-  44  Lunges :- 40

Set2 squats holding 15kg weight :- 44     Lunges :- 36

Half hour of stretching and aerobic exercise to music

Quite diffuicult remembering to take photos of all food I consume!

 

7/3 – week 10

Food:

Egg, orange juice, 2 cups  milky tea. Mid morning: cube of plain chocolate and 2 brazils 1 mint imperial. Lunch. Cottage Pie. Tea, cheese and bacon pasty with tomatoes. Apple. Plain youghurt in the evening

Exercise:

Set 1 front raise with 2 x 2.75 kg dumbbells:- 27  Tricep extensions with 2 x 2.75 kg dumbbells:- 38

Set 2 front raise with 2 x 2.75 kg dumbbells:-  30 Tricep extensions with 2 x 2.75 kg dumbbells:- 33

Half hour of stretching and aerobic exercise to music

8/3 – week 10

Food:

Egg, orange juice, 2 cups  milky tea. Roast pork, baked potato, beans, peas. Scrambled eggs with half slice thin toast. other half with jam, Apple. evening glass vouray, 2 cubes chocolate 2 brazils

Exercise:

Set 1 Bicep curls with 2 x 2.75 kg dumbbells:- 52. Wrist curls with 2 x 2.75 kg dumbbells:- 44

Set 2 Bicep curls with 2 x 2.75 kg dumbbells:- 50. Wrist curls with 2 x 2.75 kg dumbbells:- 34

Hour and a quarter of belly dance  plus 3 bursts of 20 sec high-energy ‘running on spot’

9/3 – week 10

Food:

Egg, orange juice, 2 cups  milky tea. 6 cubes plain chocolate. Battered fish, peas, beans, 6 chips. Tea: 2 half muffins with ham & cheese and 1 egg. Apple. 3 oz peanuts, 2 oz bombay mix. Selection cheeses, 2 crackers, celery, lettuce, tomato, cucumber. 2 glasses of raspberry presse

no aerobic and stretching (visitors) 3 bursts of 20 sec high-energy ‘running on spot’

 

10/3 – week 10

Food:

Egg, orange juice, 2 cups  milky tea. Gammon, baked pot, peas and beans (Village Jubilee jumble and tabletop sale – so had to be quick eats) homemade vegetable soup with a little chheese grated on top – an apple and about 1 oz cheese.

Exercise:

Set1 Squats with 15 kg weight:- 38   Step-ups with 15 kg weight:- 50    31   44

Tired out from helping to run the village jubilee jumble and table-top sale already ….. before I started!

 

Results; Apologies to anyone wondering where this up-date had got to – life has been a little manic and Monday offered no chance to sit at the computer and write:

The weigh in gave me a 1 pound drop this week and I am happy with that! It also gave me a half inch off both the relaxed and the pulled-in waist measurements – so i am doubly happy!
