WEEK 1

1/1/12 sun  –  week 1 of a 52 week blog

Food Diary:
Egg, orange juice. 2 mugs milky tea
Beef, 2 pots 3 parsnips carrot Brussels, beetroot. Onion gravy>mincetart and custard.
Cheese ham lettuce pickles. mintchoc sticks 8, 2 Clementines.
Note mid morning and after lunch and tea I also drink a mug of third milk rest hotwater – won’t write it down everyday!
Exercise done:
10x 10kg lifts x 2
6 arm bends, & 5 arm stretches x 2 (2kg)
½ hr music routine

Notes:
Weight 12 st. (76.2 kg or 168 lbs)
OK … so it was New Year Day and we had family round for the day! No Excuses. Can’t wait until all the chocolate, cake and scrummy biscuits are gone! Fair start – considering how busy I was today .. eh? What no excuse?

2/1
Food:
Egg orange juice. 2 mugs milky tea Clementine mid morning. 1 pot 3 parsnips, 3 carrots cabbage, sprouts, beef onion gravy (yeah – mock roast from yesterday’s leftovers). NO pie or even yog at this time. Later: yoghurt. Tea: cheese, ham, salad and pickles 1 dessertspoon cake crumbs – they were calling to me! 🙁 Clementine in the evening
Exercise:
12x 10kg lifts x 2
5 arms straight out x 10kg12 arm elbow to shoulder, shoulder to high & 5 arm stretches x 2 (2kg)
12 sit ups
½ hr music routine
Also changed kitchen radio to radio 2 and dance around while doing work in there
Notes:
Drinking a glass of water 5 – 10mins before meals helps. Also a glass when feeling peckish – with the mid morn or mid afternoon snack* *counted – healthy

Food:
Egg orange juice. 2 brazil nuts mid morn: 1 pot parsnips carrots beetroot, toad in hole 2chipolata sausages small batter. Half grapefruit mid afternoon; tea Tea: cheese, ham, salad and pickles.resisted even a nibble of cake – yay me!

5 arms straight out x 10kg
12 sit ups
12 arm elbow to shoulder, shoulder to high & 5 arm stretches x 2 (2kg)
half of whole body work out (middle section)
music working well – did crouches for thighs while standing reading newspapers waiting for cooking to finish
Notes:
Weds tomorrow – need sleep as early morning – next week must start exercise earlier!

Food:
Egg orange juice. 2 mugs milky tea 1 banana mid morn. 1 pot, ham pineapple, peas and baked beans. Other half of that grapefruit and 2 brazil nuts. Fish and veg soup (No bread ! no Pots in soup! Yay!) Then in the evening M gets out this champagne bottle shaped chocolate he had for Christmas and breaks it … and offers it.. and I succumb – piece about 3 inches by one inch – thin though – like Easter egg style. 
Exercise:
12x 10kg lifts x 2
6 arms straight out x 10kg12 arm elbow to shoulder, shoulder to high & 5 arm stretches x 2 (2kg)
12 sit ups x 2
10 elbows to knees (semi supported atm)
½ hr music routine
Notes:
Early start means v hungry mid morn so took banana to make sure no blood sugar drop – worked – and water!

Food:
Egg orange juice. 2 mugs milky tea 2 mint-sticks and 5 grapes late morn while cooking lunch (see note). Pork chops apple, shallots, carrots, broccoli, beetroot. Yoghurt. 2 grapes mid afternoon. 1 crumpet with cheese and egg. 1 clementine
Exercise:
12x 10kg lifts x 2
12 arm elbow to shoulder, shoulder to high & 5 arm stretches x 2 (2kg)
12 sit ups x 2
10 elbows to knees (semi supported atm) x 2
½ hr music routine
Notes:
Went shopping in am. took water – that helped but needed to have taken something to maintain the blood sugars – craving bad when home

6/1
Food:
Egg orange juice. 2 mugs milky tea. 2 brazil nuts and 1 square dark choc. Fish (in breadcrumbs) 7 chips carrots and peas. Mid pm yoghurt, plain. Noodle and ham stir-fry with egg. Resisted mincepie and clotted cream! Had apple instead. Made fruit cakes in evening – ate 3 dried apricots! Must try to keep out of the kitchen……
Exercise:
12x 10kg lifts x 2
12 arm elbow to shoulder, shoulder to high & 6 arm stretches forward, 6 arm stretches sideways x 2 (2kg)
12 sit ups x 2
12 elbows to knees (head only semi supported atm) x 2
½ hr music routine
Notes:
Actually lay in bed thinking about getting up before M to do the weight cos we were going out to buy plants first thing… didn’t though – got to bed too late to leave bed early!

7/1
Food:
Egg orange juice. 2 mugs milky tea. 2 brazil nuts and 1 square dark choc. Cottage pie, easy on the topping. Yoghurt mid pm, Tea: small pasty and an apple. 2oz peanuts in the evening
Exercise:
12x 10kg lifts x 2
12 arm elbow to shoulder, shoulder to high & 6 arm stretches forward, 6 arm stretches sideways x 2 (2kg)
12 sit ups x 2
12 elbows to knees x 2
½ hr music routine
Notes:
Getting excited to see if there is any weight difference when I weigh in on Sunday morning…
